High HOlidays Information
To our honored congregation members, guests, and newcomers, welcome to Ahavas Chesed. As the historic Conservative synagogue of Mobile, now entering its 129th year, we are delighted to welcome you to the High Holidays services. If you plan to attend the High Holidays services, please be informed of our new policies.
1. We are pleased to have a welcoming committee and our greeters look forward to welcoming you for services on the portico.
2. Members do not have to pre-register, but please bring your photo ID just in case the greeters do not know you as we have many new members.
3. Members must have the numeric code to enter the building. If you do not know the numeric code, please call the Rabbi at 251-343-6010 and he will share it with you. You must be a member to receive the numeric code.
4. Members who are bringing non-member guests must pre-register their guests and the member must arrive with their non-member guests. The non-member guests must have a photo ID to present to the greeters.
5. Any individual who is not a member, but would like to attend, must pre-register by the deadlines listed below.
6. Pre-registration is a two-step process. Please pre-register by 1) calling the synagogue office at 251-343-6010 and 2) by emailing a copy of your photo ID.

7. Pre-Registration must be completed by Wednesday, Sep.13 at Noon for Rosh Hashanah and Thursday, Sep. 21 at Noon for Yom Kippur.
8. No large items, such as backpacks, will be allowed inside the synagogue.
9. Please allow a few extra moments upon arriving in order that our greeters may cross-reference our pre-registration and membership lists.
10. Members and guests, please remember to bring your photo ID.
11. Please understand that there will be no exceptions to these policies.

Donations are appreciated if you are a guest. Credit card donations may be made by visiting our website, and clicking on the DONATE button in the top right corner of the page.
